After Banaras Hindu University, one more university has launched a course related to Hindu Dharma. Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham has rolled out an online program at certificate level named “Introduction to Hinduism”.
International Centre for Spiritual Studies is the main body behind the course. For Students above 16 years can apply for this 6 months course. The session will start from April 2022; the course fee set by AMVV is Rs 10,000. Students can register here – amrita.edu/ahead/introduction-to-hinduism/.

The main motive behind the course launch is to give knowledge of tradition, sculpture, philosophy of Hinduism. The curriculum for the programme is designed by a highly senior professor in collaboration with Brahmachari Scholars.
The 6 month Hinduism certificate programme is further subdivided into five segments.
Apart from this, there is also an online certificate course on “Mahabharata Upanayanam” of Six-week duration offered by Amrita Darshanam. Students can also enroll in “Essence of Hindusim” (a 4-week course). About more than 150+ students have signed in for these programmes.
